I grew up just outside of Buffalo in West Seneca, NY, where my family and I have lived my entire life. I attended West Seneca West Senior High graduating class of ’18. Throughout high school I was heavily involved in the National Academy of Business and Finance, where I was able to partake in business skills events with other schools and eventually took on a management role for my school’s credit union branch.
When I left for college, my educational pursuit began in the field of Engineering, my hope was to take after my father, who has been my biggest role model in life. Continuing in his footsteps seemed like the right path to follow! However, after my first semester it became apparent that my feet were looking to take a different direction. I knew something was missing, and after some careful thought and consideration, I began remembering my experiences at the Academy of Finance. The Junior Achievement Stock Market challenge, where we mimicked the actual floor of the Stock Exchange, picking equities and funds as a real world exercise and competition. Helping my fellow students open checking accounts, managing savings for their upcoming college tuition, supervising a credit union branch of my fellow students. So, I switched gears and began at the University at Buffalo, of which, four years later I am now graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance.
Outside of my education and career pursuits, I spend most of my time with my mother Carrie, my father Bud, my sister Ally, and my wonderful girlfriend Melanie. As a family we most enjoy our time out on the water or in nature at our cabin outside of Ellicottville. These four people are entirely responsible for shaping me into the man I am today. And for instilling positive core values into my life like empathy and integrity, attributes I try to utilize every single day.
In my free time I am heavily involved in the Western New York disc golf community. You can find me participating in local leagues and charity tournaments all over WNY’s beautiful parks. I am also an enormous Buffalo Bills fan and have recently become a season ticket holder to see more of Josh Allen and this amazing team I am grateful to experience.
I started my career journey here at Buffalo Financial earlier this year and am currently studying for my FINRA licensing exams. My personal and career goals mimic everything Buffalo Financial stands for. As an aspiring financial advisor, in time, under the tutelage of President Jeremy Beck and Wealth Planner Matthew Pitrola, I hope to learn all of the ways I can take the stress and anxiety out of college tuition planning, buying your first home, planning for retirement and meeting all of the goals and challenges life throws at you.
